Hello, I’m Joanne — the calligrapher behind Duchess Calligraphy. What started as a maid-of-honour project for my sister’s wedding turned into a full-blown love affair with calligraphy. From hand-lettered wedding signage to engraved keepsakes and custom event details, I help couples add personal, meaningful touches to their celebrations.

Over the years, I’ve blended traditional calligraphy with modern techniques like engraving and product painting — transforming everything from wedding signs to perfume bottles into one-of-a-kind heirlooms.

When I’m not in the studio, I’m chasing after my two little ones — they keep me inspired and remind me why I love creating pieces that celebrate life’s biggest moments. By day, I work in public service; by night, I’m surrounded by brushes, ink, and paint, bringing my clients’ visions to life.
